She studied modern dancing at college, and those years of dancing guaranteed her cardiovascular fitness levels at a high level. Yet, she believed that her physique could look much better. This came as a motivation for her to begin weight training seriously.

I think you can guess what happened next. Yes, Amanda’s mother came to play. She became a motivator and a driving force in her career. With her help, Amanda managed to stay on top of her workouts. Also, her mother became her personal photographer for social media.

“When the social-media craze started happening, I knew it was going to be really big for fitness because a lot of people want to know how to get into shape and eat right, but don’t necessarily know how,” Amanda said.

Lower Body Workouts

Amanda Lee thinks of lower body workouts as the most critical part of her routine. She assumes her glutes are what made her extraordinary, and because of this, she does lower body workout twice a week. Her workout plan includes squats, lunges, leg raises, deadlifts, and step-ups to maintain the tone.

She believes focusing on the exercise is what makes a difference.

“The most important thing to me, if you don’t do anything else, is making sure that you use your mind while you’re working out so that you really focus on the muscle,” Amanda said.

She typically splits lower body training days into separate workouts. The first day is her “heavy day,” which includes squats, leg presses, and walking lunges holding weights or a bar.  She will then assign her “lighter day” to a cardio based lower body exercises including step-ups, side-to-side steps, and jumps like frog jumps or jumping lunges.

Lunges are her most beloved exercise, and she thinks they give the best glute workout and helped her to accomplish her fancied tone. She says that she “always feels them the next day” and “you definitely see the results.”
