The well-shaped American bodybuilder and CrossFit athlete, social media celebrity, and bodybuilder, Demi Bagby, was born on January 10, 2001 in San Diego, USA, where she grew up and lives. She has three older siblings, including two brothers, one of them the actor Devon Bagby, and one sister. The 150 cm and 52 kg athlete had to live a tough period of her life with the thought of spending the rest of her life on a wheelchair after an accident took away the power of her legs. How Did the Accident Change Her Life?

She grew up cheerleading and competing in soccer teams. When she was 13, she had a cheerleading accident that broke her back and made her paralyzed. Foreseeing a life on wheelchair for the rest of her life, she was left desperate. During her recovery, she grew interest in CrossFit while watching online videos of people doing calisthenics and CrossFit. She promised herself to live everyday of her life and learn new things if she was ever able to walk again.

How Did She Gain Public Interest?

The miracle happened and she stood strong again. Whatever the doctors had said about her permanent inability to walk and do hard core training again proved to be wrong. After a year, she started following her CrossFit career by weightlifting and performing strengthening movements to build her dream body. At first, she was not ready for certain movements and the onset was particularly harsh for her. Nevertheless, her perseverance overcame and she began performing more advanced movements and carving out more delicate muscles.

In 2016, Demi was internationally ranked 23rd in her age category in the CrossFit Games; interestingly, her rank in the United States was 517th in 2015, but she made a leap to the 21st in 2016. Demi started to dazzle people by her calisthenics and street workouts such as running out of a car to do flips, walking hand stands in a grocery store, or legless swinging and climbing anything to show off the strength of her arms’ muscles. She does not confine her workout programs to gyms; she technically makes workout out of anything in the street, on the beach, or anywhere she goes.

What Does She Do to Always Keep Fit?

She has a passion for being healthy and fit all the time as well as learning new things. She performs surfing, lifting, CrossFit, calisthenics, acrobatics, and yoga to stay fit. Doing these activities by an absolutely healthy individual sounds great, but by someone who has once broken her back, they seem extraordinary. She does flag raises, clapping ring pushups, muscle ups, rope climb, one arm toe to bar, and backflip wall balls in order to make the most of her workout sessions.

Demi also follows specifically planned diets in order to stay as lean as she can possibly be so as to assist her body and muscles to perform the abovementioned activities and movements. Her diet includes vegetables, complex carbohydrates, lean protein, fruits, and healthy fats.
