Elizabeth as Elizabeth
Elizabeth calls herself “really funny” and “very weird.” She is capable of making characters up when conversing with someone. She is a photography fan and her hobby is to take photographs on the set of her series and movies. Elizabeth is a vegan since she is allergic to a lot of foods including bread, fruits like kiwi, animal products, gluten, and almost all the ordinary foods other people can eat including the tasty Italian foods prepared by her Italian great grandmother! She likes pancakes and loves her grandmother’s apple pie as her favorite desert. According to the Victorious creator Dan Schneider, Elizabeth, herself, is a great baker.
Her dream role is to play Diana, acted by Alice Ripley, in the rock musical Next to Normal. Her favorite time period to live in is the 70s. Elizabeth Other Trivia
She likes to have children someday, maybe two or three. Getting stuck in an elevator is her worst phobia. She is also afraid of wasps, fireworks, and flights (whenever she wants to fly, she twits about it and asks her fans to wish her a safe flight!). Similar to any other actor and actress, her dream is to win an Oscar. She has never drunk coffee! Those cups of coffee she drinks on set are usually brown-dyed water! Her father is the owner of a band, and she also can play piano, drums and keyboard.
She has also never been in a school prom. Elizabeth left high school in freshman year, but she continued her studies online and while on set, she spent five hours each day to be tutored. She is planning to carry on her studies academically. As a young girl, she had auditioned for America’s Got Talent, but was not accepted.
Elizabeth as Jade West
Elizabeth Gillies is mostly famous for her role as Jade West in the series, Victorious. Victorious is a famous three-season show of the American cable channel Nickelodeon. The reason for which the show did not have a fourth season is unknown while it did not have a season/series finale; however, it is rumored that Victorious is canceled for a reboot.
Elizabeth plays Jade West in the series. Jade is the bad girl of the story and the occasional antagonist of Tori Vega, portrayed by Victoria Justice. She, herself, likes the role and believes that the character is not a mere “mean girl,” she has many “human qualities” and she is not completely “sociopathic.” Elizabeth believes that Jade West was interesting to play as the character was constantly changing, and not a “one-dimensional” and “monotonous mean girl,” otherwise, she could never act it! Elizabeth said in an interview that the only thing common between Elizabeth and Jade is that they both love bunnies!
Dan Schneider created Victorious. It aired from March 2010 to February 2013. The series is about Tori Vega (Victoria Justice) a teenage singer who studies at Hollywood Arts High School. On her first day, she meets Cat Valentine (Ariana Grande), Robbie Shapiro (Matt Bennett), Andre Harris (Leon Thomas III), Rex Powers (Robbie’s puppet), Jade West (Elizabeth Gillies), and Beck Oliver (Avan Jogia). The rest of story revolves around the relationship of these characters together while Tori tries to find her place within Hollywood Arts with a set of crazy situations. The series won the Favorite TV show award at the 2012 Kids’ Choice Awards and 2013 Kids’ Choice Awards. It nominated for four Emmy nominations.
