The Turkish-German actress Fahriye Evcen Özçivit was born on June 4, 1986, with the birth sign of Gemini, in Solingen, Germany. Her mother is Circassian and her father comes from a Turkish family who immigrated from Kavala, Greece. She has three older sisters named Ayşen, Neşe and Demet. She is mostly famous for her roles as Feride in the TV series Çalikusu, based on the novel by Resat Nuri Güntekin and Necla Tekin on Yaprak Dökümü based on another novel by Resat Nuri Güntekin.

Fahriye Evcen had a difficult time with her family in Germany. When she was seven years old, the German Neo-Nazis began to burn homes inhabited by Turk citizens in the city of Solingen. Therefore, the Evcen family had to keep the lights of their home off in order not to attract attention.
In a vacation to Turkey when she was younger, she participated in Oya Aydogan’s program, where she was introduced to the producer and actor Ibrahim Mertoglu. Later, Fahriye started studying sociology at Düsseldorf Heinrich-Heine University, Germany, but not more than one year. She was invited to play a role on a TV series; therefore, she withdrew from the university and moved to Istanbul at the age of 19. In Turkey, she started studying history at Bogaziçi University in Istanbul. She graduated in 2014 from the university. She can fluently speak four languages of Turkish, English, German, and Spanish.
Fahriye Evcen Özçivit Acting Years (from 2006 – present)
She moved from Germany to Turkey in order to play the role of Necla on the TV series Yaprak Dökümü (2006 – 2010) in which she acted as Necla Tekin Aydınoğlu. Then, she had her first cinematic role in the movie Cennet, in which she acted as Kız; the movie was released on April 11, 2008. At the same time, she was acting in the movie Ask Tutulmasi in which she represented the character Pınar.
Later, she played the main role of Feride in the TV series Çalikusu (2013) by TIMS Productions, and in the movie Aşk Sana Benzer (2015) where she acted as Deniz. In 2017, she played in a TV series called Ölene Kadar as Selvi and also a movie called Sonsuz Ask as Zeynep.

Fahriye Evcen Özçivit Love Life and Marriage
On December 23, 2016, she became engaged to the Turkish model and actor Burak Özcivit, against whom she acted in the series Çalikusu, and on June 29, 2017, the couple had their splendid marriage ceremony in Istanbul in the great Sait Halim Paşa waterside mansion that is located on the dreamy beach of Bosphorus. Their ceremony guest list included celebrity couples like Kenan İmirzalioğlu and Sinem Kobal and Serenay Sarıkaya and Kerem Bursin.
Before their wedding ceremony, a henna night was held for Fahriye where she had a traditional henna night suit, named Bindalli. After the wedding, the couple had a trip to Maldives to have their honeymoon. We heard that the couple will soon become parents for the first time. While Fahriye was celebrating pregnancy, Mahlagha Jaberi, an Iranian model commented on a photo on her husband’s Instagram but he removed and blocked her from his followers. Two of her most significant TV series for which she is famous are Yaprak Dökümü and Çalikusu. Yaprak Dökümü means The Fall of Leaves, and is based on a Turkish novel written in 1990 by the author and playwright Reşat Nuri Güntekin. The story narrates the events that takes place in the 1930s for a tightly knit middle class Turkish family who are moving to Istanbul.
The family is called the Tekins, and the main characters are the father of the family, called Ali Riza Tekin (acted by Halil Ergün), the mother of the family, called Hayriye (acted by Güven Hokna), their young daughters respectively called Fikret (portrayed by Bennu Yildirimlar), Leyla (acted by Gökçe Bahadir), and Necla (portrayed by Fahriye Evcen Özçivit), the family’s son Şevket (acted by Caner Kurtaran) who is younger than Fikret and older than Leyla, and finally the son’s bride Ferhunde (acted by Deniz Çakir) who is the story’s antagonist.

Her other most famous TV series, Çalıkuşu, means The Wren. It is based on another novel by the author Reşat Nuri Güntekin and is written in 1922. The story happens in the early twentieth century. The plot is about a young woman, named Feride (portrayed by Fahriye Evcen Özçivit), whose life faces with various difficulties but does not lessen her strength.
Feride is the daughter of a deceased army officer. She is a lively naughty girl at her strict school and therefore people gave the nickname of “the wren” since these behaviour and attitudes are not appropriate for a Muslim girl (Feride). She, then, engaged to her cousin, Kamran ( Burak Özçivit played the role), but leaves him before marriage for his betrayal. Fahriye runs away to Anatolia and there, she becomes a teacher.

She has many complications at work because of meanness and incompetency of officials and colleagues. Also for her liveliness that always causes troubles problems for her. Meanwhile, she adopts a little girl who dies after three years. Feride resigns from her job and they force her to marry a doctor. Meanwhile, she becomes aware that Kamran has married the girl with whom he had cheated on Feride.
After a couple of years, she meets Kamran and hears that Kamran is regretful for what he had done. Feride also talks to Mujgan ( Bengü Ergin played the role), her cousin. He reveals that her marriage never consummated with the doctor and he treated her like a father. Then the doctor died a few months ago. As a final point, Feride, who is still in love with Kamran, marries him.
